צמצום לשימוש / צמצום למעש / צמצום מעשי

I couldn't find a conventional term, but this might work.
Note the "tzimzom" is a term in Jewish Kabala which refers to the reduction of the divine to the earthly, spiritual to material, which sort of fits beacuse "reduce to practice" refers to the transformation from the idea to somthing useable.

A legal definition of "reduce to practice" is "complete the process of invention by actually building the device (or practicing the menthod), or filing a patent application.
