In the link:
"The ability to disguise blacktopping has combined with a host of increasingly sophisticated counterfeit techniques,..." - I understand it to mean that the blacktopping itself is also disguised. You could say:
בדוק אם קיימים זיופים נוספים מתחת לציפוי המזויף
