Personally, I prefer “分选框”to “复选框/多选框”, because that latter implies the selection will consist of more than one item, where leaving out the single selection. Just a note regarding "name(s)", the checkbox next to their name, and the checkbox next to their names. It might imply a difference between these two situation depending on the actual program.
the former, implies that next to each name , there is a checkbox ( situation A)
the latter, implies that next to a group of names, those people might be within one team, so their names are grouped next to one checkbox. in this case, there is one checkbox next to their names ( as a group). ----- (situation B)
