在 google.com 搜寻发觉 Actuator 一词在不同网站上（甚至是政府网站.gov.cn）有不同的翻译，有的用“传动装置”、有的是“驱动装置”和“执行器”。各位工程系的朋友和译员，请问 Actuator 的一般翻译是？Actuation 又如何翻译？
如果要选择一个最普遍于大陆市场的 Actuator 译法，应该选择哪个？

这个译法适用于一般机械设备类文件，记得以前有一位国外教授在学校作报告的时候还特意提到过这个词
另外，据我所知，“传动装置”通常不用actuator，而是用gear/gearing；“制动器”（刹车）通常也不用actuator，而是用brake；

执行机构。用于电动阀，气动阀。至少这是我的专业。
