Kodak's color transparencies, called "KODAKCHROME", has been the overwhelming color slide product in the world. (I didn't find any other slide film producer used "CHROME" in naming their products).
So, CHROME TRANSPARENCIES - could mean "35mm, kodak color slides", or simply "color slides"
I suggest calling "CHROME TRANSPARENCIES = 彩色幻燈片"
because only KODAK film use "xxxCHROME" to name its color slide film product - being a leading and top film provider, CROME could be understood as 35mm Color Slide or Transparency.
Along with the film product - kodak also has its proprietary film processing method for "xxxCHROME" processing.
Many Hollywood movies also use KODAK film, and in Hong Kong - it was translated as "特藝七彩"
