Catalan term

5 Cèntims

Catalan to English Art/Literary Music colloquial expression
It's a heading of a summary section which comes at the end of an interview with a Catalan band. Under the heading is a brief summary of changes in band structure (who's leaving, who's joining). Nothing in the following or previous source content helps to translate the expression which is why I haven't included it.

I'm trying to drag an English expression from the depths of my unconscious which goes something like "a penny's worth"... But the text is very "now" so a more up-to-date expression (if anyone can think of one) would be much better.

Anyway ideas? Thanks!

Short cuts / bits and bobs

Formal option I guess would be "news in brief", but I agree a more up-to-date option is needed.

These might work.. I also like Ross's attempt.

Incidentally, "short cuts" gives you a nice play on words in the context of music.

Thanks! That's what I was trying to drag from memory! Ross's fit with context better though...

A penny for your thoughts

More timeless than modern.
Note from asker:
Yes, absolutely timeless! Thanks but Ross's option fit the bill here.
