Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): AhmedAMS

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Aljobury Feb 19, 2008:
Dear Fuad, out of curiosity, what would be the alternative in this case?? Do execuse my ignorance, but is there another forum where Abdou19 can go to to seek such help?? Thanks
Ghada Samir Feb 19, 2008:
Dear Mr. Abdou, No hard fealings! We only meant to set things clear, as it was like a habit lately-not for you- but for a couple of askers to ask in a way that doesn't show any care! Anyway you know by now the rules & welcome aboard!
Fuad Yahya Feb 19, 2008:
We do not object to your seeking help to translate sentences. We only object to seeking this help on KudoZ. KudoZ is where we we seek help with terminology and occasionally with interesting, specific points of grammar and phraseology. Thank you.
abdou19 (asker) Feb 19, 2008:
Mona Helal Feb 19, 2008:
I support Fuad and Ghada too, abdou19 please read Porz rules. May I also suggest that when rules are broken that no answers be offered. This may facilitate the quashing of non compliant questions.
Ghada Samir Feb 18, 2008:
Totally agree with Mr. Fuad!In addition, I think that the question, could have been limited for ex. to:انتقال اكتفاء و احترام للعقل" & not the whole sentence as it is unlikely that help in trans. is needed for whole sentence!
Fuad Yahya Feb 18, 2008:
Please do your own translation work and restrict your KudoZ postings to questions about terminology, not extensive chunks of material. Also, if this is an ARA-ENG question, state your context/explanation in either Arabic or English. Thank you.
