This is a booklet about drilling in oil fields. This section is about test results. The first is Pa, yet I can't understand the second. Is it nanogram?
Can't figure it out. Booklet is too old, and I believe is older than the emergence of nanos.

If you consult any online reference on injection pressure, you will see that this is how injection pressure is measured. Clearly, the Arabic is a very poor translation from English.

Comment on Asker's Note:
It appears that the Arabic "editor" worked from a worse translation, correcting many errors, including the translation of "PSI," but forgot to correct this one instance (he probably did not have "global search and replace" function). It cannot be anything else other than PSI because that is the unit used. The با is for "pound," the نج is for inch, and the 2 is for "square." It is laughable, but that is just the way it is.

Note from asker:
Actually I checked many online references. The term PSI has already been used previously by the Arabic editor and I translated it that way. That's another Arabic abb. used, that's why I tried to check here. The document is an old publication. Thanks anyway. |
