All I have is this name in a list of other names. I did some Googling, and it is apparently similar to oranges, and there is also a sweet variety. Plural نومي. There are orchards of it around Karbala. Please help.

4 حبات ليمون أسود
3 ملاعق طعام سكر
كوب ونصف ماء
القليل من الزعفران
طريقة التحضير : يغسل الليمون الأسود ثم تشق الحبات قليلا بالسكين.
يضاف الماء والسكر والزعفران لليمون الأسود ويغلي معا على النار.
يترك على نار هادئة لنصف ساعة حتى يصبح لون الماء أصفر وبذلك يصبح جاهز للتقديم.

تسلم ايدك الصراحه انا اموت بهذا الشاي واحنه نسمي شاي نومي
بس احنه انزيل البذور الزغار اللي داخل حبه الليمون لانها تعطي مراره للشاي
