Change log

Apr 23, 2017 05:37: GILLES MEUNIER changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): mchd, Tony M, GILLES MEUNIER

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

AllegroTrans Apr 22, 2017:
well I think Asker should provide the full text it shouldn't be up to others...
Tony M Apr 22, 2017:
@ A/T It does make perfect sense, once you have the whole text, as found for us by F-X (see below)
AllegroTrans Apr 22, 2017:
This makes no sense at all and unless there is more to the sentence to complete it, asker should consider rejecting the text
writeaway Apr 22, 2017:
agree with Daryo this is absurd. which are one? one what? nonsensical question without the whole sentence
Daryo Apr 22, 2017:
given that a number of questions result from incorrect parsing, the whole sentence is needed - this quote sounds unfinished, not like a complete "unit of meaning"; what's after?

"In just a 10 minute walk is the Vedado , to one side and the historic center of Old Havana to the other, wich are one of the most interesting must-see places to visit in the Havana.Besides a few blocks away there are bus stops to take them to any area of Havana."

AirBnB host pasted incomplete sentence apparently ...
