Funktionen der Dienstleistungen

German to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) customized software solutions, product innovation and management consulting.
XY gewährleistet die Funktionen der unter diesem Vertrag erbrachten Dienstleistungen.

I am not sure if "functions of .....services" is correct in the context of a company providing sofware solutions, product innovations etc. This is a sentence under "Warranties" in a framework agreement.

Services is what I would be asking about: what are they supposed to be? Otherwise, how would "functionality" strike you? That is something one might be anxious to have guaranteed.

this is a general framework agreement, there is thus no mention of any concrete specs, documentation etc. That is why I am asking if anybody has come across this or has a better suggestion than the obvious one.

Inge Luus The asker already knows that 'Funktionen' means 'functions' and is looking for something better. Suggest you post 'features' and see how that goes down. Incidentally, it is always best to let your answer stand on its own merits around here.

"Funktionen" means functions, or features. Does the rest of your documentation back this up? ie. that the software and products have certain features or functions? In this case, they would be guaranteeing that the contractually agreed features (or functions) of the services will be provided.
