I am a bilingual professional with over ten years’ combined experience in fast pace business environments and classroom training spanning a period of 17 years in both English- and French-speaking West Africa, as well as in Sub Saharan Africa. Going forward, I am looking to provide high-end bilingual communication management and training support and consultancy to and within institutions that require very strong organizational skills with a blend of bilingual aptitude, clarity of purpose and a professional sense of responsibility and integrity.

My experience can be summarized as follows:

• A seasoned bilingual communications professional with over 10 years’ experience in fast-paced, public- and private-sector organizations, with a focus on information and communications management; research, retrieval and analysis; editorial services
• 16 years’ experience teaching English and/or French as a second language to non-speakers, with focus on phonetics, comparative grammar, and reading comprehension
• +15 years’ experience in consecutive/simultaneous conference interpretation (+1600 hours of in-booth and field experience) and reporting
• +15 years’ experience in translation of Technical & Business documentation (French to/from English) with focus on Terminology and Syntax and Structure
• Diplomatic experience, with 7 years working contacts in both public- and private-sector organizations in East and West Africa (Benin, Burkina-Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, Zambia)
