In French (quite often, no wonder as I lived in the francophone part of Belgium for 30 years) and in English (less often). I even dreamt once in Japanese (whoops, I don't actually speak Japanese: is there a psychiatrist in the house please?)...

The doctor told me that after the narcose I spoke in Russian to him))
Honesty, my children told me that I can talk while sleeping and often in different language. Anyway it is better than snoring...

When my first child was born in Latvia, I remember after narcose I tried to speak but... like I forgot all languages and I could even think only in Hungarian. I was really scared that I forgot to speak at all. It was

Of course

I've been here in Japan 36 years. My life here is a big part of me. Besides dreams in Japanese are really spicey.

I often dream in squirrelese, but those dreams are quite nuts.

Human languages - I guess that would mean dreaming of humans, and my brain kind of edits those out.

In French And Italian Jun 12, 2017

I am aware of having dreamt in French and Italian on at least a few occasions, although I am much more fluent in Spanish than in those two languages.

Oddly enough, I don't remember having any dreams in Spanish, which I spoke fluently (and still do) while living independently and studying in Madrid. Although I would tend to think that there must have been, over the years, many more of them than in French or Italian—I just don't remember any of them.

And not only in English or Spanish, but also in the other languages I'm learning. It's truly amazing that I can understand myself or the others who are speaking in all those languages. But I guess it works. So I guess that was before the Tower of Babel incident.

My husband told me that I talked in my sleep in Portguese. He said I once said, in Portuguese, the equivalent of "Me Jane, you Tarzan"!

Regularly. In fact, curiously enough, even in languages I know very little like German and Arabic.
